Our Candidates
Our Candidates
Cuddle Buddies carefully selects people who are not only qualified but also passionate about providing exceptional care to your loved one. Our nannies and caregivers undergo a rigorous screening process to assess their education, relevant experience, transferable skills, childcare and household knowledge, and English language proficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
Our nannies and caregivers typically have backgrounds in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or as Early Childhood Education Assistants, ensuring they have a deep understanding of child development and education. They often have previous experience working with children in various settings, such as schools, daycares, or as private caregivers, which equips them with the necessary skills to handle different age groups and situations. Additionally, many of our caregivers have specialized training in adult care, including working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, ensuring they can provide compassionate and competent care for adults as well.
All of our nannies and caregivers hold certifications in First Aid and CPR, providing an added layer of safety and security for your family.
Responsibilities
Nannies and caregivers are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. They follow the parents’ guidelines regarding discipline, nutrition, activities, and safety, while also fostering a positive and respectful relationship with the children in their care. Nannies often engage children in educational and recreational activities, helping them learn and grow in a fun and engaging manner.
For adults, caregivers provide compassionate and attentive support, addressing their physical, emotional, and daily living needs. They assist with activities such as meal preparation, medication management, mobility support, and personal care. Caregivers also offer companionship and engage adults in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, ensuring a dignified and enriching experience.
Additional Skills
Our candidates are often skilled in household management tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands, which can help support busy families. They possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively interact with both children and adults, providing regular updates on their progress and well-being.
